- Conservation: The title page has been torn and a large portion of it is missing. The boards have both become detached. On the inside cover is the note: "Presented by William Greenfield | The Editor | Jan. 17 1829". Greenfield was a member of the Royal Asiatic Society. The bible is in Classical Syriac - fully vocalised Serṭā script. The first word of the title is Diyatíqí < Gr. Diatheke; altogether it means "The New Testament, being, the book of the holy Gospel of our Lord and God, Jesus Christ". William Greenfield Gift 1829. Classical Syriac.
