Library Hub Discover pilot service: Search a trial database of UK and Irish academic, national & specialist library catalogues

More search options

June update:

  • We have released a new advanced search screen, accessible by choosing the ‘More search options’ link under the search box on the Search screen.
  • Using the advanced search you can: search the holdings of specific libraries, or libraries in a specific region; search by document type and format; search by map scale. Find out more in our most recent blog post.
  • We have added a record export option, which has the same range of export formats as Copac. The export option is now available on the holdings display as well as the full record display. It will be included in the search results list in due course.
  • Copac users please note: you need to take action to export any references saved in 'My References' in Copac before the end of July, as this facility will not be available in Library Hub Discover. Find out more here.

The Library Hub Discover pilot service includes a limited subset of the catalogues contributed to the National Bibliographic Knowledgebase and uses the initial elements of our new interface designs. We will be increasing the range of facilities and the number of contributing libraries over coming months. Once the Library Hub Discover moves into service this summer it will supersede both Copac and SUNCAT building on the success of these services to create a more complete view of the UK academic and research library distributed collection. See About for a list of contributing libraries and full details of the forthcoming new service. Our FAQ gives further detail.

Library Hub Discover currently contains 35,785,723 records created from 80,489,065 records contributed by 96 institutions.
